Our History

Monkeywood was founded in 2011 by Tom Coleman who learnt his craft in the highly specialist and traditional skills of boatbuilding. Over many years Tom has brought together the very best cabinet makers around and  worked with some of the country’s finest interior designers and architects. Inreasingly renowned as a designer in his own right, Tom is highly sought after by discerning customers.

Our showroom in Oxfordshire is a relaxing and welcoming space on one of the best business parks in the south of England. We have an onsite ‘Monkeybean Coffee Shop’ which is a local favourite serving lunch, drinks and incredible coffee of course.
